Triad Stage

A note to our patrons about the coronavirus.

March 11, 2020

Laughter, folks say, is the best medicine—and we’re going to have a ton of that as we begin previews of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE in just 12 days. But all of us at Triad Stage are well aware it takes more than medicine to protect our artistic family and our audience. And that is why we are strengthening our already strong commitment to protecting the health of our Patrons and Creative Company.

We are mindful of the developing Coronavirus situation, and we are going forward with our work and our engagement with our community, taking extra care and precaution in support of the health and safety of guests, staff and artists. These steps include:

  •  Heightened janitorial services including increased frequency of disinfecting common surfaces: hand rails, lobby bar and tables, door handles, box office windows, theater seats, and arm rests.
  • Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes are accessible throughout our public and staff spaces.
  • We encourage our staff, artists and guests take common precautions including frequent and thorough handwashing to prevent the spread of illness. Additional measures can be found at the CDC website.
  • Signs with proper handwashing instructions are placed in all restrooms.
  • We will not be recycling programs.
  • We are providing gloves for front of house staff and volunteers.
  • When scanning tickets and being seated, we ask that patrons hold on to their tickets to have them scanned.
  • We recommend anyone who is not feeling well stay at home. Staff or patrons presenting symptoms will be politely asked to leave.
  • We will continue to provide excellent customer service to our audience. We encourage you to let us know if you cannot attend your scheduled performance ahead of the performance date when possible for the most flexible options. No-cost exchanges to move into another performance of the same production or exchanges into a future production are available.

In times of uncertainty, creativity and story can play an essential role in wellbeing. All Triad Stage events, including PRIDE & PREJUDICE and UpStage Cabaret events, are proceeding as scheduled. We are continuing to monitor developments and will post any changes to this policy on our website at www.triadstage.org and remain in contact with ticketholders.

If you have any other questions or concerns about your tickets to an upcoming performance please call or e-mail the box office.

Audience Services Associates are happy to help you at 336.272.0160 or boxoffice@triadstage.org.

See you at the theatre,
