About

North Star

By Gloria Bond Clunie

January 23 - February 13, 2005

Triad Stage is honored to welcome our new Elm Street neighbor, the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. To celebrate their grand opening we're producing NORTH STAR- the story of a young African-American girl searching for her place to shine. The sit-ins that started in Greensboro have spread throughout the state, threatening the joyous innocence of a childhood summer. This is a poetic coming of age story for families to enjoy together, a story of children and parents played out against events that changed America.
