Like so many theaters across the world, all of us at Triad Stage can’t wait to throw open our doors and welcome our community back to enjoy live plays, but the health and safety of our patrons, artists and staff are still our top priority.
We are looking forward to completing our 19th Season with Pride & Prejudice and Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill, but we can only do so when it is safe to bring both actors and audiences back into the theater. So, once it’s safe, we expect to finish Season 19, with Season 20 to follow in the Fall of 2021.
In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy what we are calling “Season 19 ½.” It’s a continuation of our nationally-recognized, locally crafted programming, but with a virtual spin. From play readings, concerts, and podcasts to original theater works created to enjoy online, Triad Stage will be staying connected and doing what we do best: telling stories to engage with you.
Our learning programs are also continuing, from online Curious Reading story time to our virtual Summer Academy. We’re engaging students in awakening their natural playfulness and inquiring spirits while working with partners like local schools and planning the launch of a new Theater for Young People series.
If you’re a Season Passholder or have tickets to one of our postponed Season 19 productions, you do not have to take any action today. Once we have a timeline in place, your existing tickets will be transferred into new performance dates. We will reach out to you with that information and will be flexible with rescheduling.
To those who have already secured your Season 20 Season Pass, thank you! They will work just like they have in the past, but on a new schedule. If you haven’t yet renewed for Season 20, we’re still holding your seats and will announce a new “keep your seats” deadline to coincide with the conclusion of Season 19.
Your show of faith in Triad Stage will help us move ONWARD as we get back to locally hand-crafted, world class productions here in the Triad. Visit us online or call the box office to purchase or renew a Season 20 Season Pass or make a tax-deductible donation.
We can’t wait to welcome you home to your theater!
