Luciana Lilley is a doctoral candidate in English at UNC Greensboro whose concentrations are 19th century British and American literature. She has a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies, and a Masters in English. She teaches composition and literature at UNCG. Her areas of research are explorations of literal and metaphorical consumption in texts, feminist and embodiment theories, and women writers. She has been surrounded all her life by the performing arts and is especially fascinated with visual interpretations of literature.
