Ann Marie Costa is so pleased to be directing for the first time at Triad Stage. She has directed professionally at Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte, Charlotte Repertory Theatre, Festival Stage of Winston-Salem, Blowing Rock Theatre Company, Mill Mountain Theatre (Roanoke), Victory Gardens (Chicago), Theatre Factory (St. Louis), and Theatre Project (St. Louis). Her professional directing highlights include 39 Steps, In the Next Room or the vibrator play, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Stage Kiss, The Goat, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Rumors, Keep on the Sunny Side: The Songs and Story of the Original Carter Family, River City and Mrs. Klein. She received her B.F.A in Drama/Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory of Music and her M.F.A in Directing from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the Samuel E. and Mary E. Thatcher Professor of Theatre at Davidson College. She would like to thank Preston and Sarah for giving her this fabulous opportunity.
