Gailanne Amundsen has been playing a variety of stringed instruments since her Florida childhood, winning the first of many competitions when she was just nine. She has been both the Florida and Tennessee State Fiddle Champion, and won the Songwriting Award at the Appalachian String Band Festival. Her band Jubal’s Kin has won multiple Independent Music Awards and has toured internationally. She is currently touring and recording with The Buck Stops Here and Jubal’s Kin. In 2016 she will release her first solo CD, as well as The Carter Family Project produced by John Carter Cash, and a new CD from Jubal’s Kin, The Son of Amund.
