Triad Stage

Triad Stage is proud to offer sensory-friendly performances that contain the same artistic content and quality as our other performances but with various accommodations for patrons who may benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere.

ACCOMODATIONS MAY INCLUDE

• A pre-show speech that will alert audience members of all abilities to sensory-rich moments during the show that may be startling to some.
• Visual cues when a sensory-rich moment is about to happen.
• A smaller audience size to allow for easier movement and exiting/re-entering the theater during the performance.
• Elevated houselights to allow for greater visibility.
• Modified sound and music levels.
• Support materials, including a "social story" of images that presents the play's narrative, and a "visual guide" of what to expect when audiences arrive at the theatre.
