Students in this camp will explore a combination of both scripted scene-work and stories they write themselves, building skills in improv, creative writing, and performance. Deepen your performance skills in this intensive exploration of scenework. This camp is ideal for students who are excited to make their performances more connected and compelling. Appropriate for all prior experience levels. Students will be provided with scenes when they arrive at the camp and do not need to bring additional material with them.

Monologues & Audition Techniques
For: Rising 10th-12th Graders & 2019 Graduates
Dates: June 24th-28th
Designed for busy high school students, this session offers a deep dive into how to prepare monologues for stellar auditions and compelling onstage performances. Students will receive individualized instruction from the lead teaching artist and will also work collaboratively with other camp participants. Students may bring monologues they are already working on for upcoming auditions, and will also work with some new material. Ideal for students who have some previous acting background and training. If you’re interested in pursuing a career in acting, this is the camp for you.

Always wanted to tell YOUR story the way YOU want to tell it? This camp offers students the opportunity to create their own characters, worlds, and stories through writing their own monologues, scenes, and short scripts.
