Triad Stage raises money to match $50,000 challenge gift

After little more than two months,  Triad Stage already has matched and exceeded a $50,000 challenge gift from a Summerfield couple in its latest fundraising campaign. Lynne and Glenn Ogden's gift launched the downtown professional nonprofit theater on a campaign in November to raise $250,000 in new or increased gifts before June 30, 2019.

At Greensboro's Triad Stage, director steps into a role in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'

In theater, sometimes the major drama happens offstage. Such is the case at Triad Stage, in the final week of performances of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at its downtown theater. Preston Lane, Triad Stage's founding artistic director who adapted and directed the play, will add acting to his duties: He will replace an injured actor for one of his two roles through the remainder of the show's run.
