David Louis Goldenberg

David Louis Goldenberg

Triad Stage debut. David is a mandolin player whose singular approach blurs the lines between the adventurous sounds he hears in his head and the most rugged of fundamentals he is enamored of in traditional music. He is a rare player who maintains a revolving affinity for the foundation of Bill Monroe, Fiddle Tunes, Songwriters and Brazilian music. Constantly experimenting with new ideas and concepts, Goldenberg strives to melodically paint a flowing stream of consciousness. As one of Berklee College of Music’s first graduates, he went on to become a winner of the National Mandolin Contest, Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest, Rockygrass Mandolin Contest and Utah State Mandolin Contest
