Ms. Flax is pleased to be making her Triad Stage directing debut. Off-Broadway directing credits include Red Fern Theatre Co, The Working Theater, August Strindberg Rep, Manhattan Rep Theatre Co, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity and Mutt Repp Theatre. Other directing credits include Doing Something Good; Bridge To Baraka; Runaways; Peacemeal; Rap Master Ronnie; To Be Young, Gifted and Black; Colored Peoples’ Time; Po’ (A musical comedy); AUDELCO-Award winning The American Jesus Christ (archived at the Lincoln Center Library Theater on Film Collection); and most recently, Sister Act for Community Theatre of Greensboro. She has performed numerous roles Off-Broadway and regionally and has made several TV appearances, most notably the recurring ER Nurse on Law & Order: SVU. Triad audiences may recognize Ms. Flax from her appearances at Triad Stage in Common Enemy, The Old Settler and The Little Foxes.
