Triad Stage will soon pilot professional learning workshops for K-12 teachers that explore ways to use drama and theater techniques as means to teach a wide variety of curricular topics. Schools will be able to book these workshops to take place on their campuses, and will have the option of single workshops, multiple workshops during a school year, or multiple workshops with the addition of in-classroom coaching for teachers with a Triad Stage teaching artist.
If you are a teacher interested in attending a Professional Learning workshop at Triad Stage, or a teacher or administrator interested in registering as a pilot site for professional learning programming in the 2018-2019 school year, please email Learning Director Lauren Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
For the 2017-2018 season, we will be piloting resource guides for all productions that include student matinee performances. Guides will be available one week before the show opens, and will be available in easily-accessible downloadable PDF format.
You can access the website that houses all of the dramaturgical information - which includes research from a wide array of sources about different elements of the production - that the director, designers, and actors use during rehearsal for each production. Please click on the title of the show below to access a treasure trove of information regarding the play’s historical context, production history, and much more!
